(I locked this one this week because it seemed a bit personal.)

1. What is the most important lesson you have learned from your love life? Check what you're wearing before you go out together, because it's entirely possible you look a little too alike.

2. When it comes to love, are you an optimist or a cynic? Wait, an optimist or cynic about love doing what, exactly? Does love exist? I'm optimistic. Can love last? Optimistic. Will it make you a better person, or magically solve your problems? Pessimistic.

3. You see a long lost ex walking down the street. Are you more likely to approach him/her or just keep walking? You know, at 23 years and counting, this is still the first serious, long-term relationship I've had, so there are no exes walking around out there. But given the handful of friendships I've had that have fallen apart over the years, I'd say I'd run and hide. :( (I'm not proud of this, but it's an honest assessment.)

4. Do you believe in the idea of a soul mate? No. How would that even work, exactly? What if your soul mate were born on another continent, in another period of time? What if you happened to meet up but didn't actually like each other at first blush? What if you slept in one morning and then forgot your wallet and didn't get a coffee before work and missed meeting them in the line at your local coffee shop on that one Tuesday morning they happened to be in town? Great fanfic tropes =/= great real life scenarios.

5. Care to share any relationship stories? This is clearly a question meant for folks who don't read fanfic. All we do is read relationship stories 'round these parts! I can't complete with those!
