The Friday Five for 11 July 2025
This week's questions were suggested by
silent_r_infork.
1. What was the most sick that you've ever been?
2. What disease are you afraid of getting?
3. Are you a big baby when it comes to taking medicine/shots for your illnesses?
4. Is going to the doctor really THAT bad?
5. Would you have the flu twice a month if you were paid $1,000 for having it?

My answers
The year I got a double ear infection, sinus infection, upper respiratory infection, pink eye and strep and just as I finished all the antibiotics spiked a fever of 102F went to urgent care and found out I then had chicken pox and got a course of anti-virals. Was off work for 3 weeks - so sick.
2. What disease are you afraid of getting?
Diabetes like my mom.
3. Are you a big baby when it comes to taking medicine/shots for your illnesses?
Nope. If it tastes nasty wash it down with a beverage that tastes good. And if a vaccine is available so I don't get a disease or die from a disease I'm in line.
4. Is going to the doctor really THAT bad?
Not for me. Try to schedule my annual visits in a timely manner.
5. Would you have the flu twice a month if you were paid $1,000 for having it?
No way no how. I hate being sick.
