Mine is friends locked.
  1. Do you enjoy reading? I love reading; ever since I learned to read, I read a lot. Multiple books a day. Those reading charts in school were overflowing for me. It's only in the last few years I've really returned to reading like novel books. I never stopped reading comics. There's been a shift in my attention or eyes or something that I have less focus when it's just text. Or when it's like long blocks of text. Formatting is definitely part of it; some ebooks are absolutely atrocious and, to me, unreadable.

  2. What is the first book you remember reading? Funny thing about that: I remember very little about anything. I do know that when I would have difficulty sleeping as a kid, I'd take out one of my Disney look-and-find books, which is technically not read, but it would always help me sleep. In elementary school, Harry Potter came out, and my teacher read that to us daily. Even the kids who didn't like reading loved it, so I'll count that.

  3. Who is your favourite author? I really don't think I have a favorite author, because I don't get into many series and get enough of a feel for many writers. I am a fan of Agatha Christie as well as Carolyn Keene/Franklin W. Dixon, which were pseudonyms of writers of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. HP Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe are fantastic. Tanya Huff is one I read a lot in high school, although I've not looked for any of her books lately. I should. Anthony Horowitz is also good, but he's another I haven't read in a long while; I really enjoyed the Alex Rider series. It might hit different as an adult. MXTX is a recent author of danmei I've become a fan of, and I'm looking forward to her newest novel/series, although I honestly have no idea when it's supposed to be released. Herge, author/artist of Tintin, is another great for his attention to detail and wild adventures of a teenage boy that somehow made sense.

  4. What is your favourite book? I dunno that I have a favorite book. I don't usually reread novel books, but I reread manga. One Fine Day is a very sweet, short slice-of-life series. Definitely one of those feel-good stories.

  5. What is the last book you read and the first you'll read next? I'm still working on Passenger to Frankfurt, by Agatha Christie. It's been months. The story is just very dry, and it's one of the standalone stories, not like a Miss Marple or Poirot. I'm also reading Orca Mansion, which is currently being translated, I guess, so that'll take a while.

I also have a lot of ongoing manhua/manga/manhwa that I'm reading, which is a mistake, because I forget what's happened between updates.

The last novel I finished was Khemjira Must Survive, I think. Back in January? Most recent comic was Soredemo Kimi to Koi ga Shitai!/Still, I Want to Fall in Love with You!.

Because I have no self-control, I do want to start another novel. Not sure what it'll be, yet, because I have the Father Brown collection as well as HP Lovecraft, a bunch of Agatha Christie, various danmei, even a book of local haunted places... It's up in the air.
