You are right that there are people who celebrate neither. I did take that into consideration when choosing the question set for this week, but chose to do this particular question set for the people who do celebrate the season.
The mods do our best to select question sets each week that will appeal to as broad an audience as possible across both LiveJournal and Dreamwidth, but we also know that no single set will appeal to everyone. We do our best to be as inclusive as possible in all question sets.
Because of our policy of not changing the question sets from how they're submitted, I did not make changes to this one to a broader holiday season theme, tho the questions can certainly be answered in that way. Personally, I celebrate Yule, and when I do this question set, I'm going to be making the appropriate changes to the questions.
