1) Has the weather where you are finally started acting like spring is here?
I live in Connecticut, so our weather is really unpredictable this time of year. We had snow earlier this week. It's 73F/22C and sunny today. It's supposed to be 45F/7C and rainy on Sunday. Usually it doesn't really start feeling like spring until April 20 or so.

2) Do you have any special spring activities or outings planned?
I have some plans, but they aren't really specific to spring - a bachelorette party, bridal shower, weekend visit with my boyfriend.

3) Have you started wearing different clothing appropriate to spring?
I'm trying! I've starting putting some summer clothing in my closet, but I can't put away my winter clothing yet. It's gradually getting warmer though, so I've started wearing my sleeveless tops with cardigans, rather than just wearing sweaters.

4) What signs of spring are manifesting around you?
A lot of the trees are budding or in bloom. The landscapers at my condo complex were out the other day to rake and spread grass seed.

5) Are there special foods you enjoy preparing and/or eating in the spring?
Nothing in particular, although I do normally find myself eating more salads and raw vegetables!

For values of “Wisconsin spring,” yes. This means snow, 60s, 40s, rain, generally accompanied by heavy winds.

Fingers crossed, I’m headed somewhat south to Columbus OH to hang with other SDS folks at the Multiple Perspectives on Access & Inclusion conference at OSU.

The leather jacket has been cleaned, the rain cape has been dusted off.

Overnight, dark green spears of hyacinth have broken through muddy earth

5) Are there special foods you enjoy preparing and/or eating in the spring?

Divine 70% dark chocolate. (I also like eating this every other season.)

Absolutely not-- in Kentucky we've been experiencing snow, sun, rain-- all of the elements. It's not spring, it's just playing with us like a cat plays with the little red dot.

Winter is Hoodie, Jeans, T-shirt, Spring is the same-- except I trade in my hoodie for something a little more lightweight.

Mostly; still kind of back and forth at the moment. Sunny and 80, yesterday and today, rain tomorrow, followed by 40's...

2) Do you have any special spring activities or outings planned?
We are working on clearing volunteer trees and brush in the back of our house, replanting our front flower beds and maybe doing some stonework.

3) Have you started wearing different clothing appropriate to spring?
Yes, I find myself wanting to wear lighter colors.

4) What signs of spring are manifesting around you?
The grass is mostly all green, the trees are all budding or in bloom and people are sniffling and sneezing...

5) Are there special foods you enjoy preparing and/or eating in the spring?
I try to cook and eat as seasonally as possible, so looking forward to spring onions, peas, asparagus, and strawberries.
