1. What was a skill you were proud to learn as a kid?

I don't know if I felt proud about it, but definitely superior, when I learned to type on a QWERTY keyboard long before I had a typing class. By the time I had a class, I was typing so quickly and accurately that the teacher required me to demonstrate I really could type as fast as I claimed. LOL

2. What's something you used to be good at, but can't do any more?

Memorizing things easily.

3. What's something you haven't done in a long time, but you could pick it right back up again with some practice?

Play piano. Not that I was ever that great at it, but I think muscle memory would get me playing again.

4. What can you teach others to do?

TBH, I don't know.

5. What would you like to learn next?

American Sign Language -- I can remember most of the alphabet, but I never learned how to actually speak.

Friday Five:

1. What was a skill you were proud to learn as a kid?

Writing in cursive. I learned early in first grade, so was surprised when I switched schools and had to help fifth graders who were struggling.

2. What's something you used to be good at, but can't do any more?

I used to be quite flexible and strong in yoga (when I was taking 2-3 classes per week.) Now that I am doing other things more and only sporadically taking yoga, my flexibility and ability to do inversions and binds has decreased.

3. What's something you haven't done in a long time, but you could pick it right back up again with some practice?

With more regular practice; I could be better at yoga again, also higher level math (calculus.)

4. What can you teach others to do?

If I had patience enough, I could teach others about seasonal cooking, bread making, using the mixer, baking, budgeting, organizing...lots of things. I am just not a very patient teacher.

5. What would you like to learn next?

I am trying to get better with French and I would like to learn ASL (it is possible that I will need it should my hearing deteriorate to that point.)
