Date: 2022-02-05 05:46 pm (UTC)I did. I read Taxes and TARDIS by N.R. Walker. It's for adults only. So just putting that out there. It's a gay romance about an accountant and a sci-fi geek. I enjoyed it a lot, but please heed the warning. It is graphic.
2) Taken any good baths lately?
I had a nice long soak the other day.
3) Do you read paper books, or do you prefer another format?
I'm old fashioned. I read paper books.
4) Where's the most comfortable place in your home?
My love seat in front of the TV.
5) What's the most relaxing sound you can put on?
I have a sound machine and prefer white noise.

Date: 2022-02-06 01:08 am (UTC)Axiom's End was weird and entertaining.
2) Taken any good baths lately?
I take showers. :p
3) Do you read paper books, or do you prefer another format?
Kindle or paper books is fine!
4) Where's the most comfortable place in your home?
My den, visually. It's where my books are. Plus, I have battery powered candles sitting in the fireplace. :)
5) What's the most relaxing sound you can put on?
For me, it's usually streaming subsonicradio.com because the Disney Parks music is a good nostalgia for me.

Date: 2022-02-06 10:43 am (UTC)1. Read any good books lately? I am reading a book Sis gave me for Christmas, Landmarks by Robert Macfarlane, which I will post about as soon as I finish it (it rewards slow, deep reading…) plus a book of short stories by Haruki Murakami (one of our set texts this session was one of his, and I loved it enough to chase up a bookful :)
2. Taken any good baths lately? We no longer have a bath, just a step in shower, and I am very glad of it.
3. Do you read paper books, or do you prefer another format? I love paper books, but I also happily read ebooks, in several formats, on my laptop. The words matter more than the way I get them...
4. Where's the most comfortable place in your home? Well, my (queen) bed to be strictly honest. When I'm awake, it's my armchair, surrounded by bookscases andall my daily study/reading/computer stuff and a small stool to put my feel up if I want.
5. What's the most relaxing sound you can put on? Recorded birdsong, I think, especially Australian magpies but quite a few of the wild birds round here.
