I just finished "The Lake of Dreams" by Kim Edwards and currently reading "Leia: Princess of Alderaan" by Claudia Grey

We're going to watch Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1 as our Friday movie night! TV shows (I just changed my layout the other day to include these): Obi Wan S1, Law & Order: SVU S8, Supernatural S9, Sailor Moon Stars, MASH S10, Russian Doll S2, You S2, Virgin River S3, Good Witch S7

Finished Stranger Things S4 Vol.1 so good!!!

3. What's your favorite genre, and why?

Sci Fi and Fantasy because it's fun to think outside of the box and explore other possibilities other than our own!

Books- there's so many endless possibilities to take
Film- Star Wars: A New Hope
Video Game: Animal Crossing New Horizons

I've written fic and done fanfic in the past. I wish I was more of an artist.

1. What is the last book you read and what book(s), if any, are you currently reading? The last fiction book was The Dream-Quest of Vellitt Boe by Kij Johnson; the last nonfiction Negotiating with the Dead by Margaret Attwood, which was recommended by one of my tutors and is very good. I haven't started a new one yet, but I am considering a couple of Alexander McCall Smiths I picked up, or (to go to a different extreme) a book of short stories in a Lovecraftian vein... or maybe not.

2. How about moving pictures? Are you a fan of any TV show or movie right now? Hey, I still consider myself a fan of all my shows, right back to the ones I fell for as a kid. I'm a hoarder, even of fandoms :) So yes, too many to mention.

3. What's your favorite genre, and why? Historical mysteries are my favourite book genre, they combined so much of what I most love to read about (history, crime, language etc) except fantasy (including mild horror/ghost stories, which is my second favourite.

For films & TV I don't really have a genre, it's all over the place depending on the work in question. I mean, I thought I didn't like Westerns till I fell for The Magnificent 7 TV show, or anime till Sis dragged me to a showing of Spirited Away. And so on...

In fact, most of the wildly popular stuff I love would be grabbed by someone and I have to admit I am a bit less interested in what posterity wants than I am in what I want to have with me on Planet Alpha Incognita so I'm thinking about the more obscure things that someone else will not think of. My beloved Alice by Svankmajer, perhaps. A book of the poetry of Ogden Nash. And despite all of my little fandoms maybe not making it... for TV, I'm going for the complete Would I Lie to You because not only would it make me happy but it would totally kerflummox posterity, which would have to be a Good Thing.

5. Do you make new works as well (fannish or original both count)? Or is that not your skillset/interest? I write fanfic - not nearly as much as I want to or think up, but that's on me - and some original stories. Oh, and I dabble in icons :)
