Not seriously, I don't believe in superstitions as such, but I think I inherited the 'well, it can't hurt to be careful!' mindset, an admittedly rather dotty attitude I inherited from probably dotty ancestors...
2. Which superstitions do you believe in and act on? Nothing exciting, but I get cautious on Friday 13th, I tend to automatically avoid 13... and I touch a lot of wood (or, following Isaac Asimov's suggestion, knock plastic. Hey, it works just as well!)
3. What superstition does someone close to you believe in and act on? I can't say I've noticed anyone doing this...
4. Do you take any extra precautions on Friday the 13th? As above, I'm just cautious and don't make or carry out any important plans then.
(By the way, when I was working, we did used to have Black Friday morning teas with lots of black food. Okay, dark chocolate and licorice. We weren't that fussy :)
5. Do you secretly judge superstitious people? Not unless their superstitions affect other people, which is where it becomes less of 'ehh, you live your life and I'll live mine' and becomes a problem. I mean, even if it's dotty and illogical, even if I didn't do a little of it myself, there are plenty of other silly things I think and they could judge... if they ever found out.
