This week's questions were suggested by [livejournal.com profile] sparklesalad

1. What is one food (or meal) you used to hate but now love?

2. If you had to give up one of your favorite foods (or meals) for good, what would it be, and why?

3. Which food seems like it should be healthy and isn't, and do you eat it? Why?

4. If you were an item of food, personified, what would you be and why?

5. You've seen tomatoes and pies used for this purpose ... now think of a more inventive item of food one could throw at someone. What is it and why would throwing it at someone be hilarious?

1. What is one food (or meal) you used to hate but now love?
I spent decades thinking I didn't like lentils... and now we have them at least once a week :)

2. If you had to give up one of your favorite foods (or meals) for good, what would it be, and why?
Eeeep! Umm..... maybe a vegetable like, say cauliflower? I do love it, but there are others... And we have severely reduced the (admittedly excessive) amount of cheese we eat, so I guess that the prospect of never having cauliflower cheese again would hurt but I'd survive. I think.

3. Which food seems like it should be healthy and isn't, and do you eat it? Why?
I honestly have no idea, I have learned that thinking too hard about that is bad for my morale... but I firmly believe every article I read that chocolate is good for me and none of those that say it isn't. As for eating it... what do people think? :)

4. If you were an item of food, personified, what would you be and why?
I'm the right shape for eggplant, and the feisty rugged strength of fairy (candy) floss and the temperament of, oh probably a finger bun (iced with sprinkles).

5. You've seen tomatoes and pies used for this purpose ... now think of a more inventive item of food one could throw at someone. What is it and why would throwing it at someone be hilarious?
Fish, I think, because the Monty Python Fish-slapping Dance shows that would never not be funny.

A sensible policy for a happier Sallymn.
