Date: 2025-09-19 08:46 am (UTC)Definitely. Also fewer than one. Or one. I don't know if you can have an imaginary number of them, like the square root of minus one soulmates. Perhaps that's what imaginary friends are.
2. Are you with that soulmate now?
Wait, who? Apparently I now have a soulmate, or more than one, and they may or may not be in the room. (looks around nervously)
3. If not, how long did your relationship with your soulmate last?
This assumes I ever had such a relationship. Did... did I date someone and forget? That time I got frisky with a random on the dancefloor of a nightclub, were we supposed to be together forever and they lost my number? Darn.
4. Do you still think about your soulmate, if you are not together?
I do now. I just learned in question 2 that they might be in the room. Are they under the bed? If it was the nightclub person did they get in the taxi home with me and I was so drunk I didn't notice them there and now I've been mistaking them for a bedside lamp for ten years? Turns out I am really bad at soulmate relationships.
5. If you're not together, do you think your soulmate still thinks about you?
From everything I just learned about my soulmate, this is a stalker situation and I need to vary my route to work. And as I'm working from home this is gonna take some planning.
