1. What was your favorite childhood meal? Macaroni cheese or cauliflower cheese, if I recall correctly. Still up there in my comfort food lists...

2. What is the best holiday for eating in your family? Here in Australia, the only day that really has specific 'food' connotations (well, apart from chocolate eggs at Easter!) is Christmas.... so I love Boxing Day best. The leftover roast chicken and special salad, ice-cream christmas pud, lollies, food as gifts etc seem to taste better on a more relaxed day-after-the-big-day :)

3. If someone could fix you a meal, and you didn't have to worry about cost or calorie count, what would you ask them to make? Have you seen Heston Blumenthal's 'Feasts' shows on TV? I want his Alice in Wonderland dishes from the Victorian one... or the Tudor flaming cockentrice :)

4. What food(s) do you truly dislike/hate/have allergies to? I want to like mushrooms, I so love the idea of them... but they just taste nasty to me :( And I don't know if I dislike corn - the smell makes me ill so they've never got near my mouth - or oysters for obvious visual reasons...

5. Could you give up eating meat if you wanted/needed to? We have vegetarian twice a week, sometimes thee times so... probably yes. As long as cheese and eggs were still on the menu (I could not give up cheese, nononono.....)

1. childhood meal? I think spaghetti, but I really don't remember

2. holiday? Thanksgiving or X-mas - big meal of bigness with ALL the things

3. any meal ever? a big plate of bbq ribs done right and a steak w/ potatoes and grilled veggies

4. dislike/hate/have allergies? I'm not a fan of asparagus or any seafood (the smell and the texture get to me), and, so far, I'm not allergic to anything

5. give up meat? if I *had* to, I probably could, but I don't know that I'd be all that happy about it - I like meat
