Making sure my tie is knotted right. It really irritates me when I don't get it looking perfect.

2. Why that and not something else?
Probably because I wasn't allowed to wear one for my whole life until recently; it's important to me now to do it right.

I feel like I've always been fairly "go with the flow."

Hahaha, that's my whole life... there's no suddenly about it. :p

I think I'm adequately on top of things and lax.

Good for you. If you are going to wear a tie, it should have a proper knot. We had a real problem with that at the theatre. Many younger people today don't know how to tie a tie.

panic. unless it's a health/safety issue involving someone else. then i'm all stoicism and dependability.

i wish i could be less anal, yes. i wouldn't want to be less attentive.

Being calm in the face of a health/safety issues is primo. It's good that you can do that.
