1. After your first language, what language would you most like to learn? (Say first language too)
My first language is English. Irish Gaelic because I'm really out of the habit and haven't used any since granddad died, he was Irish and taught me some words and phrases when I was little. Maybe Scots Gaelic because I know a few Doric phrases and there seems to be a little overlap with some words and phrases within regional Scottish dialects.

2. Does your country have a second language? What is it?
Gaelic although it's not as widely spoken as English is, at least that I've encountered in my nine years (so far) of living in Scotland.

3. How many languages can you count to 5 in? To 10 in? List them.
English and French.

4. What is the first overseas country you visited? And from where? (ie/ timbuctoo to mars)
England to Republic of Ireland. I was 9 or 10 and We took a bus from Leeds Irish Centre to Holyhead, ferry from Holyhead to Dublin, bus from Dublin to Elphin and then car from Elphin to Roscommon. It wasn't really a holiday or anything, my great granddad died and we went across for the funeral and stayed on my uncle's farm for a few days.

5. What country do you most want to visit? And why?
Ooh blimey. I'm a bit of a wandering gypsy so I'll go anywhere at all and I prefer to explore and find the places that the locals go to rather than the touristy places, I'm always on the look out for travel related deals. I'd love to do Canada again (I went to Vancouver in 2004) but this time to travel across country by train and start in Vancouver and end in Halifax or even do the reverse. Australia because I'm a huge rugby league fan and would love to experience an Origin game live and a Sydney Roosters game live too, I would like to see more than Sydney while I'm there. At the moment, both are way out of my realistic budget even with been ridiculously tight with my incoming money I'd not be able to get the £5000 (or so) to pay for either trip because I've priced up both and it's not currently doable with a £8.45 p/h minimum wage job.

1. After your first language, what language would you most like to learn?
English is my first language and I have been working on French for some time (I took 2 semesters in college and have been working on Duolongo for a couple of years.) I am far from fluent, but I am getting better.

2. Does your country have a second language? What is it?
I live in the United States, so English is the official language, but more of the population is speaking Spanish, so maybe we will add to that at some point.

3. How many languages can you count to 5 in? To 10 in? List them.
I can count to 10 in English, French, and Spanish.

4. What is the first overseas country you visited? And from where? (ie/ timbuctoo to mars)
The first overseas travel was to Italy (in 2000) from Washington DC, USA. That trip definitely gave me the travel bug and we have been back to Italy twice more, plus to France 4 times, Spain twice, as well as Switzerland, Benelux, and England.

5. What country do you most want to visit? And why?
I really want to go to Greece for all of the history and architecture, but I would also really love to go to Egypt.
