Good for you. We started doing this when we first got married as a way of staying on a budget. It helped us shop smarter. Then, as we both got busy with work, it kept us on a schedule. Now we do it out of habit.
We get a lot of our produce at the farmer's market, except for some of the tropical fruit (and I have a feeling it's just a matter of time for that). It's nice to have fresh. Hey, garbage in, garbage out. I figure if you want to stay healthy, you need to eat that way.
