1. What was your favorite childhood vacation?

Probably the long road trip out to US West when I must have been 9 or so. Yellowstone was amazing, and I'd like to go back again.

2. What is your dream vacation?

World trip!

3. If you could take a trip around the world, what locations would you be sure to include?

Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Egypt, Jordan, Russia, India, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Italy, The United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Spain, Brazil, Jamaica, Puerto Rico...I've thought about this a bit. ^^;;;;; Someday, when I win the lottery...

4. Do you prefer vacations to new destinations, to familiar destinations, or a mix?

A mix! The familiar places are good for letting me relax a bit mentally and prepare for the unfamiliar.

5. What activities would you plan for a two week staycation?

Reading, playing and snuggling with the cats, movies, tidying up and organizing around the house, shopping, long walks if the weather allows.

1. What was your favourite childhood vacation?
I didn't really get to go on holiday much as a kid but I did spend most, if not all of the school holidays with Auntie T and that was always a lot of fun. Sometimes I'd get to go to the coast places like Blue Dolphin, Reighton Sands, Scarborough etc but never abroad.

2. What is your dream vacation?
New York and I've been twice. I'm planning a third trip there but I'm also holding off a little bit because mum wants to go there for her 60th birthday which is still a couple of years off.

3. If you could take a trip around the world, what locations would you be sure to include?
New Zealand, Australia and most of the Far East, India. Pretty much places I've not yet been.

4. Do you prefer vacations to new destinations, to familiar destinations, or a mix?
New destinations mostly but sometimes I'll get the urge to go somewhere I've already been. I'd love to go to Egypt again because I didn't feel like 10 days in Cairo was enough even with having a driver take me around.

5. What activities would you plan for a two week staycation?
Depends on where I am and who is visiting. When mum and Brian come up to Aberdeen I usually plan for days out away from here so Glasgow, Inverness and also book somewhere for dinner and drinks. When I go Leeds to see mum and Brian it's the usual of Pontefract so that I can get Haribo's from the factory, Headingley for the rugby and then just doing whatever else comes up which usually depends on who (family, family friends) are asking when I'll next be down there.
