1. What’s the weather outside your window doing right now? If that’s not inspiring, what’s the weather like somewhere you wish you could be?
2. What’s for breakfast? Lunch? Dinner?
3. What are things you can’t go without?
4. How did your parents choose your name?
5. If you could travel back in time, where and when would you go?

If you'd like to suggest questions for a future Friday Five, then do so on DreamWidth or LiveJournal. Old sets that were used have been deleted, so we encourage you to suggest some more!

We repost the questions exactly as the original posters submitted them and request that all questions be checked for spelling and grammatical errors before they're submitted. Comments re: the spelling and grammatical nature of the questions are not necessary. Honestly, any hostile, rude, petty, or unnecessary comments need not be posted, either.**

Date: 2020-04-10 09:40 am (UTC)It's beautiful out this morning; sunny and in the low 60'sF. It's meant to get up to almost 70F.
2. What’s for breakfast? Lunch? Dinner?
I had cinnamon rolls and tea for breakfast. Lunch will probably be soup of some sort. Dinner is undecided. Possibly burgers.
3. What are things you can’t go without?
In terms of non-human/non-animated things, probably my allergy meds right now, and my anti-depressant meds. I also couldn't go without a shower and deodorant but perhaps that's more basic than what this question is asking. My fountain pens, my journals and my books. I'd find it incredibly difficult to live without those things.
4. How did your parents choose your name?
I don't know. My mom said my dad chose my name. When I asked him, he didn't really have an answer. He said he just liked it.
5. If you could travel back in time, where and when would you go?
Questions like these are always a bit tricky because if you travel back in time, there's the possibility of changing things and potentially change history and maybe that's not as good a thing as may seem. This said, I feel like I'd love to travel back to about 1917 and meet my great grandmother. She died in the Spanish flu pandemic a year later. I wish I could get to know her a little bit because I know so little about her. Even her name is sketchy because records were so poorly kept back then.
