What musicians were popular when you were a teenager?
Hmm ... old teenager or young teenager? Or middle teenager? :p
Will Smith, Nirvana, Bon Jovi, Guns 'n Roses, New Kids on the Block, Roxette, Alanis Morrissette, Counting Crows, Live, The Crash Test Dummies, Two Princes, Technotronic, 2Unlimited, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Eurythmics ... the list is endless.
What unique personality traits do you think you have in common with others born around the same time as you?
Er ... that is an odd question. I'm not sure how to answer that. Uncertainty? Is that a personality trait?
Do you think stereotypes about your generation are accurate?
Well, it was a time of great technological change. Computers becoming part of family life, the internet. Being exposed to the world via a machine was an exciting and interesting time for teenagers. Probably still is today. Not too sure what the stereotypes are/were. I certainly had a sheltered childhood, one that I grew to resent - is that a stereotype? Did others feel that way? Or perhaps the kids today still feel that way too. Technology moves faster than adults want their children to experience. Maybe because they want their children to stay innocent a little longer. I digress.
What do you admire about other generations?
I admire how unsheltered the kids are today. It's scary to see it, as an adult, but I'd have loved the freedom today's teenagers seem to have.
