I'm not sure actually; maybe once in elementary school.

2. Do you like a regular or hard apple cider?

I have never drank much of either, but I guess it would lean toward the French hard cider.

3. Do you have a special type of apple that you prefer over others?

I tend to prefer ones that lean toward the tarter side; Winesap, Braeburn, McIntosh.

4. Have you ever made baked apples?

Yes, but it is not my favorite way to cook with apples.

5. Who is the apple of your eye?

My hubby of 30 years.

You know I'm going to ask. What's your favorite was to cook with apples. :D

I like them mixed into savory dishes. I did one last fall with fennel and cheese that was incredible.

That recipe comes from a book called "Six Seasons" by Joshua McFadden and (sorry) I only have it in hard copy. I highly recommend it though, particularly if you like veggies and eating seasonally. I know some people that have gotten it from the library to try it out before buying it.
